There is so much to do in a life... I hope to have achieved at least some of my projects by the age of 64! I hope to be a nice white-haired granny. I'll probably be retired, after having had a distinguished career in the police force. My husband (a wonderful, wealthy, doctor!) and I will finally go on that long trip around the world we promised ourselves. We will tell our children and grandchildren all about our travel adventures.

When I am 64, I think I will live with my husband in a small house with a dog and I hope to often get visits from my children and my grandchildren and I will spend time with them.

I will practice sport to keep healthy.

I will go on holiday with my family and we will visit lots of foreign countries.

I will enjoy every moment of my life because we only have one life!

I will have three ou four children and many grandchildren. We will all live in Cannes, the most beautiful city in the world!

I hope to have made a success of the job of my dreams and especially to have been able to continue to dance and to ride horses.

I also hope to be healthy and avoid medical expenses for my family.

I would like to be a doctor because it's been my dream since I was young.

I think I will be very sporty because I love all sorts of sport.

I would like to be married and have three children with twins: just one boy and two girls.

I hope to still be in a good health although I will be a grandmother. I also hope that my parents will still be alive... How old will they be? Wow, ancient!

I would like to live in Bordeaux with my family because I think it's the best city in France after Paris. But when my husband and I finally retire, I would like us to live in Corsica. Or maybe I in Hawaii or Australia.

I hope that my children and my grandchildren will be living in a society that is more just than today and without wars...

Mathilde

I’m fifteen. When I’ll be 64, I’ll be just my usual self, just older!

I’ll be smaller than today. It is likely my blond hair will be going grey. My face is sure to have some wrinkles and fewer spots...

My character will probably not have changed much; I think I’ll still be kind, gentle and really lively even though I’ll be old!

When I am 64, I will have realized most of my dreams, like travel to exotic places, having a nice house, etc., but I will still be enjoying my life...

I will have great moments with my children and my grand children. I will help them in their daily lives like my family does now.

I expect that I will be in good health and I will do everything to stay fit: sport, no smoking, not drinking too much either.

I will still work a little bit to have extra money, to be able to offer gifts to my friends and so on.

I will be the greatest dad and grandfather in the world!

My family and I will be living in Los Angeles. My wife will be lovely. We will be happy and our children too.

I will still be working so as to give my children and their children what they need.

I will practice lots of sport to keep fit.

Estelle

When I'm 64, I hope that I will still be in good health and as determined and full of energy as today.

I will have travelled a lot in my life, in particular to Australia because I love it there. I will still be curiose about other cultures. I'd like in fact to have lived and worked (as a vet) in a foreign country.

I will be married and we will have one or two children, no more.

I think that population numbers will have risen considerably, that the climate will have warmed even more, and that there will still be rich and poor...

François

When I'm 64, it'll be 2060... That seems so very far away!

I hope I will not be a wreck, with a horrible face! I would hate to have white hair or, worse, be bald! I want to still be able to walk, even be fit enough to do some sport...

I hope I will have a few grandchildren. I want to look after them during the holidays. If my parents are still alive, I want to do many things with my whole family. Simple things, like having a picnic and telling them the story of my life...

I would like to have become a man who has not always done the same things all his life... Being stuck in front of the television, or reading boring books is not my thing!

As I will be retired, I will have all the time I need to do charity work. Of course, some countries will still be more developed than others, but I think there will be less injustice; I hope I have another fifty years or more to help build a better future for all.

What shall I be doing when I'm 64? I'll read, listen to music, watch TV stuck in my sofa, same as today!

Maybe I'll still be working? More likely I'll be spending my time thinking about what fun I was when I still had a job...

I'll travel around the world if I have the money. If not, well, I suppose I'll have to hang around my OAP retirement home. I just hope I won't get bored. Maybe I'll have done something exceptional? Probably not...

I hope that I will not have any problems, and the world will be OK too. There will no longer be any diseases, and we will have found another solar system just like our own. Maybe.

I know that I may not reach 64, but I intend to live every day of my life to the full!

Marie

I think I will surely be a grandmother by the age of 64! I will love to just sit in a cosy chair, with my husband next to me, and read a book while keeping watch of my grandchildren.

I will be full of beans still, spending my time doing the shopping and housework, or going to the cinema with my friends, etc.

I will remember fondly my childhood and high school days in Aurillac...

I will have a detailed travel diary of all the places I will have visited: Australia, the United States, and the rest.

That's my dream future... I'll send you all a message in 48 years' time to let you know if it all turned out as I hoped!

Anne-Sophie

When I am 64 I will have a husband, three children and six grandchildren. I will have a house in the countryside with a very big garden where I can play with all my family and take care of our animals.

I will spend all my time looking after my children and grandchildren.

I will adopt sick and abandoned animals.

I will have taken long trips to Africa and Australia, countries which are just wonderful.

I hope that I will be in good health to do all of that and I hope to live as long as possible…

Valentin

Do you think it’s possible to still feel like a kid even when you're old? If not, then I hope never to reach 64!

Will I be strong enough not to be affected by society's perversity, the violence of the world? I hope I will not become cynical...

When I’m 64, I hope to live in the beautiful wilds of Canada, with my family, my husky dogs and my snowboard. If you think it’s not possible to snowboard at 64, then check out this video!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoSuxL57xRY

I will have travelled a lot by the age of 64, and I will have a lot of stories to tell.

I’m sure I will still be active and I will do my best to help poor children who have not had the chance to be happy like me in my childhood.

Marie

Will society be confronted with new scourges when I'm old? I hope we will have got over the present economic crisis and that there will be greater solidarity between people, and the world will have become an incredible melting pot of cultures. There will no longer be any wars...

By 2059, the world will surely have made great technological progress. Our life spans will have increased, so 64 will not be retirement age!

I just hope I will have a successful career, still be passionate about what I do, have gone around the world... And just be happy, healthy, and have no regrets!

Anne Sophie

When I'm 64, I hope that I'll have worked long enough to have a decent pension...

I will have a lovely house in the countryside with a big garden with trees, flowers, a vegetable patch, with a place for rabbits and chickens, and a den for my many grandchildren.

I'll spend my time taking care of my family, making them lovely meals, etc. I'll also take care of myself, going to the swimming pool, for long walks in the woods, and indulging in drawing and craftwork.

When I'm 64, I hope to be just like my own super grandmother, who is 89!

When I'm 64, what will the world be like ? It may have changed a lot. Maybe France will no longer exist and Europe will be a unique country able to face crises and challenge the USA. I hope that there is peace between nations and that a third world war has been avoided. But certainly the political model won't be the same because, as we can see today, capitalism is getting out of hand.

In my sixties, I won't be that old. Maybe I'll have less hair on my head, but life must go on! I'm sure that in 2060, people will have to work until they are 70. So I'll probably still be working, be a father, and have had lots of experiences to share with younger people. Of course, this is a very optimistic way of seeing the future, but pessimism won't get us anywhere...

I hope that when I’m 64, I’ll still be as energetic as today because I’ll want to take care of my grandchildren. Maybe I’ll still be obliged to work because of the new law on the age of retirement at 75...

I hope that my life will be wonderful and quiet. I would like to have had a great career in archaeology. I’ll want to have discovered many things about the world’s history and humanity.

Finally I hope that I’ll be in an excellent health in order to appreciate my life fully during my retirement.
